Rhys de Callier

With more than 15 years in corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions, Mr. de Callier brings deep expertise in strategic growth and corporate portfolio management to Halozyme as Chief Strategy Officer. He joined Halozyme in August 2025 and is responsible for leading the Company’s strategic growth initiatives, including identifying new opportunities for innovation and long-term growth.

Prior to Halozyme, Mr. de Callier most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Management at QuidelOrtho, where he led the full lifecycle of business development and M&A transactions including sourcing, evaluation and execution. He spearheaded the company’s multi-horizon strategic planning process and aligned global business units and R&D to address strategic gaps, driving long-term shareholder value. Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior roles in marketing and business unit leadership, contributing to Quidel’s global expansion.

Mr. de Callier holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Drury University.
